Insert Awesome Title Here 1"Pssst Hey Matt Wake up " Mello whispered, shaking his best friend's shoulder gently. It had been exactly 6.5 hours since Matt had laid down to rest, so he was still extremely tired. That didn't bother Mello, though. He was too excited to pay the lack of slumber his roommate received any mind, considering the blonde hadn't slept a wink all day or night. No, he was way too ecstatic. There was a rumor going around that Watari would be arriving back at Wammy's on Sunday (today) at 2:46 AM with a special visitor. Mello assumed it was L, and if it wasn't Matt was going to be the one that would have to hear the other boy's complaints for the next week or so.
The redhead mumbled something softly; it was far too faint to understand. "Come on Matt, you promised you would wait with me. You know So I don't get lonely?" Mello pleaded, taking Matt's hand in his and lacing their fingers. "But-- " Matt stammered, sighing heavily and jerking up into a sitting position. He yawn
Insert Awesome Title Here~Prologue
Michael Kheel. Mello. Never had he been an exactly 'happy' lad. His life had been scarred ever since that unfaithful day his family had been massacred before his very eyes. It wasn't Mello actually believed they loved him, but instead to have someone there just to look up to was what he really wanted more than anything. Even if they didn't care anymore for gun than this weeks news paper; it was still worth the try to have them standing, waiting for you when you rod the bus home from school. Welcoming you back with open arms and begging to know how everything went, and how you and you're newly found friend were getting along. Alas, Mells wasn't blessed enough to have a family that he claimed his own that willingly. Instead he was faced with piles of homework to do every night and no one there to encourage him to continue working hard; except Matt.
Mail Jeevas, or Matt had been the newest kid coming into Wammy's (an orphanage were kids without parents or kids with above average
These Final Days 2The next thing Ratio remembers is waking up in a ragged, queen size bed. It was not the material he was used to, nor was it of most comfort, but he wasn't complaining. The awkwardly familiar stench of dust and old furniture, most likely not used for ages, filled the air. It gave him an elder, musty feeling inside; not exactly pleasant, but it was better than being locked inside a shed for 3 never-ending days and nights. His back ached and stomach growled, indicating the hunger building up inside. Never had the thought of starving even crossed the man's mind until now, but he paid it no mind.
"Look who's finally awake. I was beginning to worry." A voice called out, crackling roughly on nearly every word. Ratio clenched the sheets beneath him tightly between his slender fingers. His eyes widened in mock fright as he noticed the other figure sharing the room with him; oblivious until this moment. "I-It's you " Ratio stammered, feeling his face flush and hands begin to get clammy once
These Final DaysSomewhere on the outskirts of Manhattan rested a not-so-cozy little building. It was about the half the size of a regular house, but its current guest didn't pay the size any mind. A lone wolf cried out in the distance; preferably howling at the full moon that was out that night. The only sources of light that accompanied this man was the moon, and a small flame flickering from the only decoration in his possession; a candle.
The man went by the name of Ratio; as well as many others. Light, Ratio, Yagami, Kira; each one had a different sentimental value towards him. Usually something this simple would have no meaning what so ever, to a murderer. Yes, that was another one of his many names. Ratio wasn't too fond of the feeling, but yet he knew that many people around the world knew him as the world's most successful serial killer ever to walk the Earth. Alas, they were wrong. Sure he had won this title, but the infamous approach had never quite suited someone of his standers. No, Ratio
First TimeMello shone his miniature flash light over the book he had chosen to read tonight. Licking his finger, and turning the page the blonde wondered what time it was. He gazed up at the clock in the corner of the room; it read 1:19 AM. Next, Mello glanced over at the wooden bunk bed across the room from him. Lying in the top bunk was his rival, Near, and in the bottom was another one of the teenage boys he shared a dorm with; Roger's son. Mello never really related with any of them considering he was a bit of a loner himself. His rather short temper often got in the way when he tried to make friends; not that he wanted any anyway.
A small gust of wind swept through the room causing Mello to shiver. He shuttered, grasping the covered draped over him and returned to his story without paying any mind to where the sudden weather had come from. "H-Hello?" An unfamiliar voice whispered into the darkness. Mello was the only one still awake at this time, so he figured it would be be
Be Warned 1Matt sat up hesitantly in bed, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dark consistency of the room. He gazed at his best friend lying in the bed across from him. A small smile spread innocently across his lips. "Mello's so cute when he's asleep." The redhead whispered to himself, forgetting about his mission for a brief second.
"Snap out of it Matt; keep your head in the game." He mumbled, creeping up out of the bed and kneeling quietly before his wii. The gamer pressed the button with his index finger as the Mario Kart picture flashed across the bright screen. A loud, car engine noise flooded the air as Matt remembered he hadn't yet turned down the volume.
Panicking slightly, his full attention focused back on Mello who was turning over and groaning in his sleep. "Oh great, he's gonna wake up~!" Matt murmured, hitting random buttons on the television in a failed attempt to make the device shut up. All of a sudden another loud noise filled the air. It sounded like static. Apparently Matt h
The New Kid 3The two Wammy's kids sat in silence for a while until Charley couldn't take it anymore. "B, is everything okay? You look sort of spaced out all of a sudden." She said softly, waving her hand in front of his face. This caused B to return to Earth which was much more peaceful then his imagination. No average human would ever have the thoughts that constantly lurked in B's head; consistently clouding up his mind and judgment. "Hello?" Charley said again, still not feeling B's presence.
Without thinking B lunged forward and in less than 2 seconds he was embracing Charley in a friendly hug. "You trust me?" He muttered, blinking back tears from his crimson red eyes. Normally B would never, under any circumstances, get emotional, but something strange had gone on today that was allowing him to get all 'floppy' at the drop of a hat. He couldn't explain it, but B wasn't complaining.
Charley, on the other hand, was in shock from B's sudden cling to her. She tried to remain calm and hug
The New Kid 2Charley stood, looking out the window and wondering for a few minutes. The minutes felt like hours, and yet, still not proper answers came to her mind. After a fairly long amount of time, she could tell all the other children were about to come inside. Everyone lined up with Mr. Wammy and made their way back into the building.
This meant that L was going to be there soon to help Charley with her Math. She had never been particularly good at the subject, but she understood it quiet well. The only reason she wanted L to come, was so they could spend time together without her asking for that herself. Facing the opposite direction of the door, she rambled threw her things.
The door opened behind her. Charley assumed it was L running a bit early for some reason. "Oh hey, you're early today. Sorry, but I am still getting everything together. Would you mind sitting down and waiting for a second?" She said, not turning around. "That's fine with me but I must assure you, I am not L. Far from it
The New Kid"Are you sad?" Charley gasped, lifting her head up from her knees where they had been rested. Shimmering tears sparkled across her flushed cheeks. She gulped in a breath of air, gazing upward at the World's Greatest Detective. In return, she had a pair of wide, curious, panda eyes gazing back at her.
He cocked his head to the side, nibbling on his thumbnail. Charley wiped the tears from her eyes with her sleeve before answering him. Her voice was quiet and weak; perhaps a bit hoarse. "I I " Charley choked up, tears began forming in her eyes again.
"Aw, don't cry my little C." L whispered, offering me a lollypop. "C" Charley whispered back softly, in a confused tone. He nodded. Charley had seen this prodigy before. He had an extreme craving for sweets, which explain why he had the lollypop. "Why are you so sad, C?" Charley thought the answer was obvious, but she kept that thought to herself and answered anyway. "I I miss my family." She stammered.
L patted her gently on t

“You know, you should throw that old toy away, I think you’ve done enough damage as it is Peter.” An English accented voice rang through a large manor.
“Nah uh! Emil is so much fun to play with, plus uncle Berwald gave him to me when I was three!” A softer version of the previous voice
Creepypasta x Half Wolf!Reader [Part 8]"I never would have thought that a girl would be good at this," BEN mumbled, tossing a handful of popcorn into his mouth. He cast a sideways glance to the young female beside him, who was staring at the TV screen with a triumphant look. "I mean, we got up to round 47," he continued. "I usually can't even get past 10."
[Your Name] turned her head and smiled happily at him. "I really like games like this," she giggled. "I've always found them really fun!"
"So have I," he commented. "And you know... We would have survived if you had just came over and revived me when I was down--"
The young girl frowned. "It's not my fault if you die every ten seconds and there's a huge-ass swarm of zombies behind me."
"Ten seconds?" BEN repeated. "I do believe that I survive longer than that."
"You died in the first round."
"IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT I LIKE TO DIVE DOWN STAIRCASES. IT WASN'T MY FAULT THAT THERE WAS LIKE FIVE OF THEM ZOMBIES WAITING FOR ME EITHER."
"It was rather amusing to wa
Coincidences- Bruce x Reader Chpt. 1This was officially the worst idea you had ever had. You didn’t know a thing about New York even though you’d been born here. Your parents had sent you to boarding school in England at a young age and it was there that you had grown up, gone to college, and pretty much lived your life. That’s not to say you weren’t loved or that you were abandoned, your family visited you often, but since you didn’t like to fly they always came to you.
You looked up at the buildings that towered over you ominously, it had definitely changed since then. Being lost wasn’t actually such a bad thing or well it wouldn’t be if the sky wasn’t drenching you with water that was threatening to turn into snow as the temperature crept lower.
You cursed yourself for all the mistakes you’d made today- leaving without your warm outer coat, losing your wallet at the checkpoint, letting your phone run out of batteries, pretty much this whole day was a mistake.

“(Name)!” Rose’s voice rang out, “Where are you?”
(Name) had slowly wandered through the opera house when she finally heard Rose calling her. She changed directions and headed straight to the voice until she saw the face of her.... ‘friend’. She couldn’t really tell how close they were, but something nagged at her mind. It wasn’t a big issue right now, but it was still an issue all the same. Rose looked at her and smiled.
“(Name),” she sighed, “Where were you?”
“I should ask the same.” the (h/c) haired woman countered in a calm tone.
Rose laughed lightly, “Looking for you. Do you think we should leave here?”
(Name) shook her head, “No... I have a feeling he’ll be here. I don’t know when, but he’ll show up.”
Rose shrugged slightly but went with the statement, “And until then?”
“We buy tickets to the next show.”

Coincidences- Bruce x Reader Chpt. 2Once you were both in the elevator and the doors had closed you pressed the button for Tony’s floor and Bruce’s heart fell. You were probably one of his many girls, he reasoned, wondering if you knew that Tony seemed to be pretty committed to Pepper.
He was about to hint at it when you calmly stated, “Jarvis dear, would you please let Tony know that I’m here?”
The AI’s voice promptly responded, “I’m sorry Miss, I’m afraid I can’t. He’s in his workshop and has asked not to be disturbed unless it is an emergency.”
You closed your eyes and let your breath out slowly, trying to calm your frustrations, “Jarvis I just got on a plane for the first time in over 20 years I think that constitutes as something worthy of disturbing him.”
“Of course Miss. I’ll let him know right away.” The voice answered just as the doors pinged open.
You sighed as you took in the layout of the floor and then strod
Observers- BBC Sherlock x Reader Chpt. 5It was only a couple of hours before John looked up from his computer to find you dozed off, pencil in hand, the activities of the day finally catching up with you. He slid the sketchbook off your lap, glancing briefly at your work- an array of sketches of him, Mrs. Hudson, the head, and quite a few of Sherlock- before setting it and the pencil on the table beside you.
You stirred when he did, groggily mumbling, “Just let me sleep here,” as you pulled yourself into a ball around your hand and shifted to rest your head on the arm of the chair.
“You could take my room.” John offered, to which you grunted and rolled so your back was to him.
He gave a half smile, ever since you were a kid you had liked to sleep curled up in an armchair because you felt safe in the small space. He covered you with a blanket and then went to bed himself, leaving you in his chair and Sherlock on the couch with his eyes closed.
Once John was gone his eyes snapped open and he examined yo
Coincidences- Bruce x Reader Chpt. 3While Bruce processed this, you hip bumped Tony, “Mind if I set up Eva?”
Tony grinned, “I think Jarvis would find a way to murder me in my sleep if I said no.”
“That is a fair assumption sir.” came the AI’s response.
You laughed, pulling a small tablet from your shoulder bag to flick at its screen happily.
Bruce looked between you and Tony, hundreds of questions crowding his brain, “I didn’t know that you have a sister.”
Tony gave a secretive smirk, “Not many people do. Shame really. Would you look at how adorable she is? She’s like a female version of me.”
You rolled your eyes, “I’m much prettier than you Tony.”
Your brother’s eyes narrowed, “ Because you’ve had a rough day and I am so excited that you’re here, I’m going let that one slide.
Bruce spoke up again, “How did she end up in England and not here with you?”
You answered this time, try
Love of a Giant: Chapter SeventeenA week had gone by since meeting Bloodshed’s friends. Soundwave had kept a close eye on the princess and the prince and his friend whenever they were alone together. So far, she seemed safe with the two giants and Bloodshed made sure that Novabomb did not lay a hand on her. And the prince didn’t seem to be interested in her sexually, which was a relief.
Still, she had to remain alert. She never knew if Bloodshed was simply acting the part. There were always those types of men who would be sweet and kind one moment before turning violent and sadistic the next. Christ, her own deceased husband was like that. And if that turned out to be the case with Bloodshed, then Soundwave would do everything in her power to protect Thornstriker from the same abuse she had faced with Razorcut.
Soundwave was watching from the parlor Thornstriker chatting with Novabomb out in the garden. Bloodshed had been with them a few minutes ago, but a servant had told him something that made him get up
One Day short"Mello I love you" Matt whispered, his crimson red locks shading the matching blush on his cheeks. "Ever since you told me everything would be alright after my parent's death. Ever since you told me how you would make up for their love with our friendship Ever since then I have cared more about you than my own family. I was just too afraid of what you may think of me once you knew the truth." He added.
"Damn, that's just not good enough! Mello deserves the best, and I'm obviously not it if I can't even tell him how much I desperately want him!" Matt shouted angrily, throwing the stuffed animal he had been speaking to out of his sight. "One day I will tell Mells how I really feel about him; even if it kills me."
